Today was a day for many firsts:
- First early morning rise
- First highway ride for many
- First flat tyre - Meg!
- First signs of delerium due to over tiredness
 
Made it to Geelong for a swim and free hot showers! (which was apparently the best shower Pip's had in 3 months!)
 
Ate 5 star restaurant style with amazing food donated by a member of Geelong sustainability group
 
First performance on the road - Great energy mustered by the group and audience ponded great feedback
 
Awesome to hear stories from action happening in Geelong - Transition town, school gardens, organic garden groups
 
Early to bed!

14 amazing, possibly a little crazy, passionate youth are about to embark on a 1,300km, 6-week epic cycling mission around regional Western Victoria.
But WHY you ask!?!
To engage youth and community using an educational programme in sustainability including a theatrical skit and themed workshops.

We will try and keep an ongoing record of what's been happening along our 6 week journey throughout rural Victoria on this blog and our newsletter. We are all starting to prepare for this big journey and think it will be a really amazing rural loop. In the time that we will be on the road we will meet many different people, living in a cycling community for 6 weeks, and educating youth about sustainable consumption!
We all can't wait to jump onto our bikes and hit the road!
