The Otesha Project (Aus.) visits schools along the routes of their Bicycle Performing Tours to present their sustainability-themed performance.

Using theatre, multimedia and interactive workshops, Otesha provides a unique approach to understanding environmental and social justice issues. The performance includes four major components:

• Removing the Blinders slideshow
• Introduction of The Otesha Project (Australia)
• Morning of Choices theatrical performance
• Inspiring Futures slideshow

All performances are followed by workshops on various topics around environmental and social justice issues.

The Morning of Choices play

At the heart of our presentation is the humorous, ever-changing, beautiful, and engaging Morning of Choices play, which aims to inspire audiences to create local and global change through their daily consumer choices.

The play examines the daily consumer choices of two teenagers: Careless Consumer and Hopeful Homie, exploring society's consumption practices within six major issues:

• Water
• Clothing
• Food
• Media
• Transportation
• Fair-trade Coffee/Chocolate

The play is performed by a variety of amazingly driven youth who take on roles such as Careless Consumer, Hopeful Homie, Mother Earth, and Human Props.
